This is a two day invitational meet, hosted by the Pleasant Hill Dolfins. Meet Location for 2024: Pleasant Hill Education Center, 1 Santa Barbara Road, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523 Date & Time: Saturday, June 29 & Sunday, June 30, 2024 Meet starts at 9:00 am both days Warm-ups at 7:45 – 8:45 am both days Specific team warm-up lanes will be assigned Schedule of events: SATURDAY EVENTS
SUNDAY EVENTS
PLEASE NOTE: There are entry fees associated with this invitational meet. Families are responsible for $10 per swimmer, and LT will pick up the remaining balance. Your card will be charged once entries are finalized. No refunds. Celebrating 60 years! Welcome to the 32nd Annual Battle of the Ages! VIP PARKING: VIP parking is no longer available. GENERAL PARKING: There is general parking in the main school lot, on the street at the front of the school and in Pleasant Oaks Park across the street from the school. TEAM AREAS AND SET UP: A map of Pleasant Hill Middle School will be available on the Wednesday prior to meet at: http://pleasanthilldolfins.com . Every participating team is assigned a team area in the hallways. Families are also welcome to set up on the field next to the VIP parking area. Please respect that Summer School is taking place on this site and we cannot allow early setup. The campus will be open for set-up at 5pm on Friday. NOTE:If tents, chairs or other personal belongings are left overnight, Pleasant Hill Dolfins Swim Team and other affiliated agencies are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Summer school starts again early on Monday morning so please be a good neighbor by picking up your trash and placing it in the appropriate receptacle locations. PETS, ALCOHOL AND CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES: We are on a school campus. Pets, alcohol and controlled substances are not permitted. WARM UPS: No swimmer will be permitted to participate in pre-meet warm-ups without the presence of a coach from their team to supervise. All warmups will be open format with lanes 1 and 5 for starts and sprints, only one direction. *11/12 swimmers may swim at either time slot Saturday, June 29, 2024: 7:30-7:55 am*Ages 11-18 7:55-8:20 am*Ages 9-12 8:20-8:45 amAges 8 & Under Sunday, June 30, 2024: 7:30-7:55 am*Ages 11-18 7:55-8:20 am*Ages 9-12 8:20-8:45 amAges 8 & Under (optional - 8&U swimmers won’t start on Sunday until 12:30pm) During Competition, lane 10 is for warm-ups and cool-downs for 13/18 year old swimmers to warm up and cool down throughout the meet. Swimmers must follow the directions of the lifeguards and meet officials at all times. CLERK OF THE COURSE: All swimmers must check-in at Clerk of the Course before their race. Be sure to follow our twitter feed for Clerk calls. The area in Clerk of the Course and immediately around the pool is a secure area – only competing swimmers, coaches and officials will be allowed in this area. COMMUNICATIONS: Results will be posted outside the North entrance to the pool. They will also be posted on Meet Mobile. VENDOR FAIR: Visit our vendors on the grass next to the snack shack and next to the Clerk of the Course. Jolyn (Sunday) & Ellsmore swimwear (Both days) will be on site for a trunk sale. Gic Graphics T-shirts, FlexinMyComplxn, Celebrations etc. – Air Brush Artist on the blacktop near Clerk of the Course, Auntie Viv’s Shaved Ice, near the side gate pool entrance by meet results. SNACK SHACK: Our snack shack offers a delicious menu with many healthy choices the menu will be available at http://pleasanthilldolfins.com POP UP AWARDS: All swimmers who pop their time can visit Battle HQ for a treat! RAFFLE: Be sure to visit our Raffle table next to Battle HQ. Tickets are 1 for $3, 4 for $10, or 10 for $20 will be available at Battle HQ. Our iPad Grand Prize Raffle is $25.00 for the Golden Ticket! T-SHIRTS: Available at the meet outside the entrance closest to Clerk of the Course provided by GIC Graphics will be doing custom screen-printed shirts, tanks and more.
