Parking: See map - Teams may park in the main parking lot; Meet officials (S&T, Starter, Referee, Computer Desk, & Meet Director) may park in designated spots in the upper parking lot near team areas.

Team Arrival & Set Up: Teams may begin arriving no sooner than 7:00 am. Team Areas will not be marked until 7:30 am. See map for our assigned area.

Meet Program Sales, 7:30 am: Programs will be available for sale (if still available) and pick-up (via pre-order) at 7:30 am.

For swimmers participating without a coach, we will have a lifeguard-certified volunteer monitoring lanes 7 & 8 during warm up.

Coaches Packet: Packet will include simple copies of the Meet Programs & if applicable, lunch tickets for coaches. Pick up beginning at 7:30 am at the computer desk.

Coaches Tent: The Coaches Area will be directly behind the blocks. Please bring a tent for your team.

Clerk of Course: There is no official clerk of course. For ages 8 and under swimmers, parents and shepherds will need to assist getting swimmers to the blocks.

Entry to the blocks will be self-serviced (“Clerk Yourself”). We will monitor entry in terms of allowing 3 heats in at any given time. The entry will be staffed and signage visible indicating which event and heats are allowed behind the blocks. For 8 & Under, upon entry, parents or shepherds can also enter and assist swimmers to blocks.

See attached team area map for swimmer entry points. 8 & Under will be starting individual races from the opposite side of the pool directly in front of the bleachers.

Timers: FPST, 14 timer chairs
PHD, 6 timer chairs - 1 per lane (lane 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8)
LTST, 2 timer chairs - 1 per lane (lane 4, 5)
SVST, 1 timer chair (lane 2)
RC, 1 timer chair (lane 7)

FPST will also provide relief timers to provide bathroom breaks as needed for all timers. Our hospitality team will also distribute water and snacks to timers.

Stroke & Turn: We will reach out to your teams separately regarding this role.

Awards: Ribbons and stickers need to be picked up for your team at the end of the meet and no later than 20 minutes past the end of the meet.

Hospitality Tent: This tent will be next to the computer desk. If you need First Aid supplies or need to get a hold of a board member, you can find assistance here.

Auction Table: This table will be near the pool entrance closest to the score board. Don't forget to check out our awesome baskets and enter the raffle to win your favorite one!

Event Order: Please note that this is an Everyone vs. Everyone Meet, so swimmers for individual events will be mixed, seeded and placed in heats based on time and not only age.

Awards/Ribbons: Swimmers who pop their time will receive a lollipop from the timer in their lane. Ribbons will be distributed to the top 5 swimmers of an event for ages 10 and under. There will no heat winner ribbons.

We are looking forward to a fun and exciting meet full of fast swims and encourage you to invite friends and family to come and cheer your swimmers on!

EVENT TIMELINE

• 1:30 - 2:30pm, Open Warmups 
• 2:30 - 2:45pm, 8 & Under ONLY warmup 
• 3:00pm, meet begins

DIRECTIONS AND PARKING: From 680 North, take the El Cerro exit and turn left. Continue straight - El Cerro Road becomes Diablo Road which then becomes Blackhawk Road. Follow the road until you reach the Main Gate entrance at Blackhawk Country Club. Turn left into the visitor’s lane. Once through the gate, proceed straight on Blackhawk Drive. At the roundabout, turn left. The pool is located at the very top of the hill on the left. In addition to the main parking lot, street parking is available; as well as, a dirt parking lot located at the back of the main lot. Please do not park in any reserved spaces (reserved spaces will be clearly marked), or Handicap spaces without a valid placard. Back by popular demand - $50/VIP Spots (limited to 25) will be sold at the top of the hill on a first-come, first-served basis.

UNLOADING SAFELY: Please utilize the safe and supported Unloading Zone available at the top of the hill adjacent to the “Hawks Nest” building entrance. You will be directed to the end of the main parking lot to make a full turn before entering the unloading zone, where you will find attendants to help you unload. Then, proceed down the hill to more parking on the street and in the lower parking lot - Remember no large coolers allowed! Courtesy Golf Carts are available to all guests of this meet... Please wave one down for a ride to the top of the hill! A golf cart pick-up zone can be found in the lower parking lot.

SET-UP AREA: Teams and families may set-up starting at 1:00 PM on Sunday.

MEET JOBS: This meet is completely staffed by the HOX team, no jobs are required of any other family or team.

RESULTS: During the meet, results will be posted to Meet Mobile. The computer backup database for teams will be available at www.hoxswim.com immediately following the meet.

RULES

• Fly overs will be used. 
• Only (1) swimmer at a time allowed at the starting block. 
• All events will swim fast to slow. 
• All events are timed finals. 
• Events will be timed using (2) timers and touchpads. 

USE OF THE FACILITY: 

• This is a pre-registered event and it is NOT open to the public. It is restricted to swim team members, their parents and swim team officials only. 
• There is (1) bathroom on the pool deck. There are additional bathrooms located upstairs on either side of the Hawk’s Nest building - one set on each side of the building. 
• There are NO locker rooms on site.  
• There are (2) changing tents located at each set of bathrooms at the Hawk’s Nest building - near the bocce courts and entrance. 
• Warm-up/warm-down area: Coaches should actively monitor their swimmers in the shallow-end lanes/warm-up pool area to ensure it is being used appropriately for warm-up and warm-down activities only. Swimmers should not be standing, socializing, playing, or otherwise treating the area as recreational space. 
• The warm-up/warm-down pool area is restricted to swimmers ages 13 and older. 
• The fitness center is closed to the public and is for members only

ATHLETES

• Meet Program will be available on July 19, at 9AM at www.hoxswim.com.
• Please communicate scratches to the computer desk. Scratches are non-refundable and non-transferable. ● Fast suits are permitted as per current USA swim rules. 
• Warm-up/warm-down area: As a reminder, the warm-up/warm-down pool lanes are restricted to swimmers ages 13 and older.

STROKE & TURN: All age groups will be required to swim the stroke 100% correct, 100% of the time.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE: 

• Blackhawk Country Club will have food and beverages available for purchase. Cash and credit cards will be accepted. There are full concessions located at the top of the stairs at the Hawks Nest building and adjacent to the lower pool-lawn. No outside food or beverage allowed - Do not bring large coolers to this venue. 
• Kona Ice will be back with Shave-Ice and Smoothies. Cash and credit cards will be accepted. 
• No outside food or beverage allowed.
