Dear Seahorse Families,

As we say goodbye to summer and welcome a new school year, we want to express our gratitude to all of the families who make Las Trampas Swim Team so special. Thank you for another wonderful summer of making memories at the pool.

FALL CLINIC REGISTRATION OPEN

Coach Andrew will be holding an 8-week Fall Clinic beginning Tuesday, September 5. Registration is open to LTST and general Las Trampas Pool families now. To read all the details and readiness requirements, and to complete your registration please click HERE. Registration will close when we reach maximum headcount, or August 19. A Late Registration Fee applies for those who wish to sign up August 20 or later (if space allows).

CONGRATULATIONS, COUNTY SWIMMERS

Congratulations to the LTST swimmers who competed at the Contra Costa County Championship on August 5-6. We are very proud to share that Las Trampas placed 3rd in Division II - there were some incredible achievements that got us there! The full County Meet results are posted HERE. Matt Worster will be sharing some of our team’s highlights in a separate recap.

AWARDS NIGHT - AUGUST 19

Please join us to celebrate a season of incredible accomplishments! LTST Awards Night will be Saturday, August 19 at 5:30 PM. Your family will not want to miss the delicious dinner, presentation of awards, and much-anticipated slideshow shared that evening.

COACHES GIFT

Did you know that Coach Andrew walks an average of 6 miles each day he is on deck? Did you know that our assistant coaches delivered over 95 Secret Seahorse goodie bags for our 10U swimmers, and then delivered them to each athlete’s home?

Every year, families ask us how they can extend their gratitude to our team of dedicated coaches. If you would like to show extra appreciation for their time and enthusiasm, please contribute to the annual Coaches' Gift. Simply Venmo our team treasurer, Marisa Lynn, via her personal Venmo account @marisa-lynn. If it prompts you for her phone number, the four digits you’ll need are 4038. Please note “Coaches Gift”. We would like to collect all contributions by Saturday 8/19. Thank you!

LOST AND FOUND

The Lost and Found shelves are laden with so many treasures! The shelves will be cleared out, and all items will be donated to charity, on Monday, August 21. Please make sure that you visit the Lost and Found area for a last chance to locate your missing items.

SNEAKER DRIVE

The last day to donate used sneakers to our season-long Sneaker Drive will be Monday, September 4. Remember as you clean out closets for going back to school, bring all your old athletic shoes to LT! We are collecting used athletic shoes (in any condition) for a fundraiser. We need both shoes in the pair to get credit. Place shoes in the large bin near the baby pool.

If you made any team-related purchases that were approved for reimbursement, please send your receipts to our LTST Treasurer, Marisa Lynn [email protected]. Please submit ASAP so she can close the books on this season. Thanks!

2024 STAR JOBS
