Seahorse Families,

It is only September but planning for the 2025 season is well underway! We wanted to share several key dates as well as Star Job opportunities. 

Key Dates

• Time Trials – Sunday, May 18^th
• Devil Mountain Pentathlon @ Dana Hills – June 21^st & 22^nd – swimmers either attend Saturday OR Sunday (depending on age group) and swim all events for a cumulative time/score. We will not participate in Battle of the Ages in 2025 due to insurance requirements that DCSL teams are unable to meet.
• Fourth of July Break – no meet Wednesday, July 2^nd or Saturday, July 5^th
• DCSL – July 26^th and 27^th

Volunteer Opportunities

As you know, swim team is very much a co-op and takes a lot of parent time and energy to pull off. We have identified Star Job opportunities in the following roles. Star Jobs generally take much more time than typical job requirements (~25 hours). Please let us know if you have interest and we’ll share more about the requirements and time commitment (in season and off season).

• Lead Shepherd (shared role)
• Pop Towels
• Family Socials (shared role)
• Snack Shack (shared role)
• Treasurer
• Apparel
