Preseason begins Monday

Dear Seahorse Families,

We wrapped up Spring Clinic this week, and it was fantastic to see so much improvement in the water. Next week will be the *official* first week of Las Trampas Swim Team Season, and we're looking forward to seeing everyone for our first day of Preseason Practice on Monday (April 21st). Here are a few updates for you....

KICK-OFF MEETING - 5/4 SUNDAY from 3-4PM

All Swim Team parents, both returning and new, are invited to join us for the 2025 Season Kickoff Meeting on Sunday, May 4th from 3pm-4pm at Las Trampas Pool. We will be revealing this season's Spirit Theme, discussing the Parent Jobs point requirement and signup process, sharing key information about Apparel, Fundraising, Social Events, Private Lessons, and more. The Pool's Opening Party for all members will begin shortly after.

PRE-SEASON BEGINS MONDAY, 4/21

Our 6-week Pre-Season runs Monday, April 21 - Wednesday, May 28. Practice is Monday through Thursday and follows the schedule outlined below. We understand that many other spring sports are still in session, but please do your best to attend afternoon practices as often as possible. These early weeks of the season are so important for establishing foundational skills and building endurance for the summer ahead.

3:45 - 4:25 PM, 6 & Unders

4:25 - 5:05 PM, 7/8s

5:05 - 5:50 PM, 9/10s

5:50 - 6:40 PM, 11/12s and 13/14 Girls

6:40 - 7:30 PM, 13/14 Boys and 15-18s

Just a reminder that all practice schedules, including those for summer practice and post-season are always available on our website.

SEAHORSE DAY CAMP

Registration for Seahorse Day Camp is still open, with a few spots remaining. Please read the Seahorse Day Camp Program Information carefully before registering your Camper, as all registrants need to be water safe on the first day.

WOW, LOOK AT THIS POOL!

Our Operations Director Mike Knudtsen, along with a team of parent volunteers have been hard at work on pool improvements. The grass is literally greener at LT, the new paint is sparkling, and we have a new sound system! Get excited for food at home meets this year, because we also have a new flat grill for pancakes and (possibly) smash burgers! On the behavior side, we appreciate families monitoring swimmers and siblings during practice time, and understanding that our pool is *not* a parkour training ground-- please refrain from letting kids climb on the tv stand and new ping-pong table. With that in mind, we're excited to enjoy the pool this summer, and are looking forward to a fabulous season!

Kindly,

Amy & Heather

Your 2025 LTST Directors
