2024 Fall Clinic Registration

2024 Fall Clinic

The LTST Fall Clinic will be held from Tuesday, September 3th - Saturday, October 26th, 2024. Practice sessions will be offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The program will adhere to capacity limitations, so registration will close when we reach our maximum number of registrants. Please register early to secure a spot!

Program Fee: $400 per swimmer

TENTATIVE Schedule

The Fall Clinic 2024 schedule is tentatively planned as follows:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday:

  • Group 1 (generally, age 5 - 7): 3:45 - 4:30 PM
  • Group 2 (generally, age 6 - 8): 4:30 - 5:15 PM
  • Group 3 (generally, age 8 - 11): 5:15 - 6:00 PM
  • Group 4 (generally, ages 9+): 6:00 - 6:45 PM

Saturday:

  • Group 4: 8:30 - 9:15 AM
  • Group 3: 9:15 - 10:00 AM
  • Group 2: 10:00 - 10:45 AM
  • Group 1: 10:45 - 11:30 AM

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT GROUP ASSIGNMENT:

After registration closes, your child will be assigned to a balanced workout group based on age and ability. We will consider the overall roster of swimmers who have registered before finalizing the practice schedule or assigning anyone to groups. We may not be able to accommodate requests for specific practice times or specific friends to be together.

Registration Timeline

  • August 12: Fall Clinic registration opens for returning LTST families
  • August 13: (1:00PM): Fall Clinic registration opens to other members of Las Trampas Pool
  • Registration will close when we reach maximum headcount, or Saturday, August 24th at 6:00 PM - whichever comes first. A $50 Late Fee applies for those who wish to sign up after registration is closed (if spaces are available).
  • We will keep a Waiting List if the program reaches maximum headcount.
  • Registration fees will be non-refundable once registration closes, unless your child's swimming assessment deems that they are not yet ready for the program.

Registration will close when we reach maximum headcount. A $50 Late Registration Fee applies for those who wish to sign up after August 24th (if space allows).

Program Requirements

  • Swimmers must be between the ages of 5-18.
  • Swimmers must be members of Las Trampas Pool.
  • Swimmers who do not have experience as members of LTST or Sea Ponies will be assessed for readiness on the first day of the program. Acceptance in the Fall Clinic program is not guaranteed until an assessment has been completed.
  • Swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards independently without stopping.
  • Swimmers must be able to swim at least 2 of the 4 strokes.
  • Swimmers must be able to complete a 25-yard lap of freestyle unassisted. 

Important Info - Please Read

  • The LT Fall Swim Clinic is technique-focused and designed to prepare swimmers for a competitive environment. This is not a “learn to swim” program.
  • Coaches will not be in the water with swimmers.
  • A certified Lifeguard will be on duty.
  • Please make sure that your swimmer is equipped with goggles, towel and water bottle. Swim caps are required for all swimmers with hair that goes past the collar.
  • The diving board will be unavailable for use.
  • The Toddler Pool will be unavailable for use.
  • The Lifeguard Office is always off-limits to swimmers

Medical Release Waiver

I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian for my child(ren). I hereby give my permission for any supervisor, coach or other team administrator associated with the Las Trampas Swim Team to seek and give appropriate medical attention for our child(ren) in the event of accident, injury, illness. I will be responsible for any and all costs associated with any necessary medical attention and/or treatment.


I hereby waive, release and forever discharge Las Trampas Swim Team and associated supervisor, coach or other team administrator from all rights and claims for damages, injury, loss to person or property which may be sustained or occur during participation in Las Trampas Swim Team activities, whether or not damages or loss is due to negligence. I hereby acknowledge that my children is (are) physically fit and capable of participation in all Swim Team activities.

Liability Waiver

By registering my child(ren) with the Las Trampas Swim Team, I agree to participate (or allow my child(ren) and family members to participate) in the Las Trampas Swim Team, and hereby release Las Trampas Swim Team, its directors, officers, agents, coaches, and employees from liability for any injury that might occur to myself (or to my child(ren) and family members) while participating in the Las Trampas Swim Team program, including travel to and from training sessions, swim meets or other scheduled team activities.


I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the above mentioned organizations and/or individuals, their agents and/or employees, against any and all liability for personal injury, including injuries resulting in death to me, my child(ren) and/or other family members, or damage to my property, the property to my child(ren) and/or other family members, or both, while I (or my child(ren) or family members) participating in the Las Trampas Swim Team program.

Clinic Code of Conduct

Swimmer Code of Conduct

  • Swimmers will abide by all posted rules, and verbal instructions given by Coaches, Lifeguards, and Swim Team Directors.
  • Swimmer-to-swimmer and Swimmer-to-Coach contact is not allowed. Spitting, splashing, and any general roughhousing is strictly forbidden.
  • By attending practice, you attest that you or members of your household have not experienced any symptoms such as fever (100 degrees or higher), chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea in the last 5 days.

Parent Code of Conduct

  • Parents will verify that swimmers have all necessary equipment prior to dropping off at the pool, including but not limited to: goggles, caps, towel, water bottle, sunscreen.
  • Parents will be timely in dropping off and picking up swimmers.
  • Parents will support the program by ensuring that their swimmers abide by all posted pool rules, as well as verbal instructions from Coaches, Lifeguards, and Swim Team Directors. 
  • By allowing your child to attend practice, you attest that no members of your household have experienced symptoms such as fever (100 degrees or higher), chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea in the last 5 days.

Code of Conduct Violations

To be sanctioned by Coaching and Lifeguard Staff in consultation with the Swim Team Directors:

  • First Infraction: Dismissal from Clinic session for the rest of the day.
  • Second Infraction: Dismissal from Clinic for the rest of the week
  • Third Infraction: Suspension from Clinic program.
